Actor, Dancer, Singer

Hi! My name is Kirsten Estes and I am an actor, dancer, and singer, based in Birmingham, Alabama. Recently, I graduated from Auburn University with my BFA in Music Theatre. Since I was 3 years old, I have been training in all types of dance including, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, and acro. I have worked with several studios including Studio 1 Dance, Dale Serrano Dance Studio, Alabama Dance Academy, and The Pointe Dance Arts. When I was 8 years old, I performed in my first musical playing Patch the puppy in 101 Dalmatians Kids, and I have been hooked on theatre ever since. In the last 10 years, I have performed in over 20 different theatrical and dance productions. Some of my favorite roles include Jaques in Shaina Taub's As You Like It, Katherine in Newsies, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, and Celisse in Godspell.

Beyond my acting career, I am very passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities. Since middle school, I have worked as a student aid in self-contained special education classrooms. For the last 3 summers, I have been working as a counselor at Camp ASCCA in Jackson's Gap, Alabama. In my time there, I have been given the privilege to care for children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a summer camp environment. After graduating from Auburn in May, I hope to pursue work in the theatre field that will help enhance my skills of making theatre spaces more inclusive and accessible for people of all different abilities !
